Pixela PC-less DVD Burner Now Available

Toronto, Canada – August 16, 2007 - Pixela Corporation (TSE: 6731), a leading manufacturer of PC peripheral hardware and multimedia software, announced today the worldwide availability of PC-less DVD Burner (PIX-BU010-P01), which can be connected directly with digital camera and HDD camcorders.

This stand-alone DVD burner enables CD and DVD production for the videos and still images in your digital camera and HDD camcorder with one touch operation. Connect the camera and camcorder directly with the DVD burner and press the Start button, and the DVD Burner automatically analyzes data on the camera and burns the recorded videos and pictures onto DVD. The operation is easy, simple, and completely PC-less. The created DVDs can be played back on most DVD players by selecting titles just like commercial DVDs.

“This is amazingly easy to use”, said Pixela Product Manager, Nick Kovac. “I’m going to buy it for my dad. He is not familiar with computer stuff and could not make his original DVD from his new camcorder. With this DVD burner, he can author DVDs with just one touch and play them back on a standard DVD player!”
