Other Precautions |
- To create a disc, you need a separate recording device suited to your requirements. An environment that supports a recording device is also necessary.
- Before creating a disc, please check that the recording device is operating normally. Use discs recommended by the manufacturer of the recording device.
- Recorded DVD-R and DVD+R cannot be overwritten.
- Discs in poor condition, such as scratched or dirty discs, cannot be used.
- Check that no software or drivers that may affect disc creation are installed on your Macintosh. A screensaver or other software that runs permanently may affect disc creation. When creating a DVD, we recommend that you do not launch any application software other than mono DVD.
- Confirm that there is sufficient free space in the memory and on the hard disc.
You may not be able to create discs successfully if the available space is small.
- For working space to create a DVD, a free space two times the size of the disc you are creating is required on the hard disc.
- If working folder is located in Mac OS X start up disc, extra 1GB is required.
